Improvements
Master Packager Suite
Added ability to automatically download and update Master Packager software. [MPDEV-2244]
Now Master Packager will be always up to date. Automatically, silently, for every user.
There are two options how Master Packager will be updating:
- Silent Auto-Updates.
When enabled, Master Packager will download the latest version and install it silently while the software is not running. Currently it is opt-in feature that you can enable with UPDATE_SCHEDULING_ENABLED property set to true. - Interactive notification
When user will run the software we will show a popup notification displaying that newer version update is available. User can close the notification, minimize it in a tray or trigger the update.
During update we will check if any conflicting processes are running and ask user to close them.
Master Packager
Sort Public Properties first. [MPDEV-2335]
As IT Pro you want to know existing available public properties in an MSI, so you know what options are already available. But sometimes there are too many of public and private properties mixed within the Property table that is hard to overview. That is why we added a PRO edition feature to sort Property table in Table Editor by public properties first.
Master Repackager
Updated Master Repackager exclusion list.[MPDEV-2356]
We updated Master Repackager exclusion list with new entries so your packages are even more cleaner and you have to spend less time removing noise items.
Master Wrapper
Multiple smaller improvements for Master Wrapper.[MPDEV-2285]
• Add option to clear script editor cache
• Automatically remove read-only flags from editable PSADT files when saving project [MPDEV-2347]
• Change detection registry key to HKCU when configuration is set to not require admin rights [MPDEV-2348]
Bugs fixed
We fixed all reported and found bugs.
Master Package
• Dragging MSP when another package is already open causes error [MPDEV-2321]
• Copy to UserProfile action sets incorrect removal path when a file is selected [MPDEV-2340]
• Cannot select source for Copy toUserProfile action when source is empty [MPDEV-2341]
• Size column has incorrect header name in Files editor [MPDEV-2349]
• Copy toUserProfile predefined action does not copy empty folders [MPDEV-2350]
• Disk path is missing forward slash in table cell editors where file key can be selected [MPDEV-2352]
• Copy toUserProfile predefined action cannot copy files to the root of the user profile [MPDEV-2353]
• RemoveFromUserProfile custom action fails when removing read-only files [MPDEV-2354]
Master Repackager
• Cannot create new MSI when read-only flag is set on Default.msi [MPDEV-2345]
• Trusted signing authentication window is displayed two times during first authentication attempt [MPDEV-2322]
Master Wrapper
• Some single line statements cause Main Action sections to be parsed incorrectly [MPDEV-2332]
• Here strings cause main actions to be parsed incorrectly [MPDEV-2360]
